Gwen Stefani got candid during a sit-down interview with Ryan Seacrest about the rumors swirling around her and fellow “Voice” judge Blake Shelton.
“I think NBC did that. Right? Two divorced people at the same time,” she joked, refusing to answer whether she and Shelton are a couple. “But I think he’s hot, don’t you?”
“But, to be super honest, it is kind of crazy we both went through the same thing at the same time,” she added. “There’s been so many people that I’ve gotten so much comfort from. Just people coming to me and telling me their story … Not confiding, but sharing, which has just helped me see things from a different perspective and move forward.”
Rumors of a romance between Stefani and Shelton were first sparked over the summer. Shelton and Miranda Lambert announced they were divorcing after four years of marriage back in July, while Stefani and Gavin Rossdale announced the end of their 13-year marriage in August. The “Voice” judges have since been spotted getting cozy, most recently at a string of Halloween parties.
The No Doubt singer wouldn’t give any specifics about her split, but did say “life blew up in [her] face” the day after the 2015 Grammys in February.
“What I will tell you is,” she said, “I was married for a long time and now I’m not. It was a shock.”
