Ms. Faith Nouri is Chair of the Immigration Section of the L.A. County Bar Association (LACBA) for 2005-2006 and Chair of National Security Exit and Entry System (NSEERS) Standing Committee of the Immigration Section of LACBA. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and an incoming officer for 2006. She liaises on behalf of AILA and LACBA with respect to Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE), and NSEERS, and Registration regulations/issues. She has been the liaise chairperson from 2002 to 2005 with CBP Bureau, and ICE Bureau in this jurisdiction from 2003 to present. Ms. Nouri is a member of the liaison committees with the Citizenship and Immigration Service Bureau (CIS) and Executive Office of the Immigration Review/Immigration Court (EOIR).  Ms. Nouri is a member of the Immigration Fraud Task Force.

       She is a member of American Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of British Columbia. Ms. Nouri is not only an attorney at law in California but also she is a Barrister & Solicitor in British Columbia, Canada. Ms. Nouri is licensed to practice in both U.S. and Canadian Federal Courts.  Ms. Nouri has been a mentor to LACBA and AILA members with respect to Registration, NSEERS requirements, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) regulations and procedures.
 
          Her work entitled “Application of the Res Judicata Doctrine in Canadian Refuge Cases” has been published in the Immigration Law Reporter which is a national reporter in Canada.  Also in U.S., LACBA: INS & Outs, Immigration Section Newsletter entitled: NSEERS: The Future and  U.S. Visit and U.S. Customs and Border Protection Bureau (“CBP”) were published and available on line at www.lacba.org, Spring of 2003 Volume 3 and Winter of 2004 Volume 6 respectively  and CBP Pratice Tips and Practical Guidelines published by American Immigration Lawyers Association for 17th Annual California Chapter Conference Handbook in 2004.  She has been a speaker on the recent U.S. Registration and post 9/11 Regulations and inadmissibility for various organizations such as American Immigration Lawyers Association Conferences, Orange County Bar Association, National Lawyers Guild, L.A. County Bar Association, and several local bar associations, Community Based Organizations and private sector companies in California.
